Those are some of the many remarks I got from people whenever they saw me reading this:

What is so wrong with reading these books at my age?? The illustrations are simple – doesn’t need so much of a brain workout to decipher the drawings, funny storyline AND most of all, it keeps my sanity!
For those of you who never read this book, or perhaps never heard of Crayon Shin Chan before..this is a manga and anime series written by Yoshito Usui, and it has been translated to many languages around the World. It tells the story of a 5-year old boy who seems to do everything he can to annoy his parents and teachers (and succeeds wildly), but only means the best for everyone. He also loves running around with his pants off! *LoL*
I don’t care whatever perception people have on me for reading this book.
I’m a big fan of this boy!

I’m coming 23 and I love Shin chan. I read it since form 2, now my book shelves is full of his comics and I’m bloody proud of it. Kekeke.
And.. I don’t care if people think it’s childish because I feel happy~

NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT! LOL! I refuse to grow up too!
Anywhoos, sounds like an interesting story line, I wouldn’t mind reading it myself!
Thanks For Stopping by! :o)
YEP ‘ol Croc-Man bit the bullet!
I’ve been watching him since he first aired here on Discovery channel- Mid 90′s. My Son grew up watching him. I feel so sorry for the daughter. That is a horrible way to go, but Irwin KNEW well that these creatures can cause harm, and he chose to do what he loved best…. Work with wildlife. There is danger in anything we do in life.
Well catch ya on the “flip side”…. GLAD to get back intouch with ya! BIG HUG…

Hiya Cindy!!!!!
Girly start drawing something nice.
I can’t get the grip on the feel of these last summer days and pending autumn.
You read what you want.
I don’t know these books, but it’s up to you to enjoy what you do.
Not everything needs to be functional and educating.
I like to reread some books I already read when I was young.
I still have an excuse reading them with my dyslectic daughter. LOL!
Have a great day today!

Have never heard of those books, but anyways they sound like fun.
Hey, saw your comment in Miriam’s blog. Speedy Gonzalez is supposed to be Mexican. “Gonzalez” is a common Mexican last name and I’m sure the last name also exists in Spain, as Mexico you know has an Indian and Spanish origin.
“Andale, andale” means “Come on , come on”, and “arriba, arriba” means “up, up”, with the connotation of success or something like that.
Not all Mexicans wear a “sombrero” (typical Mexican hat) like Speedy Gonzalez does, but typical Mexicans do (people in small towns, etc.)
Okies, hey, also thank you very much for passing by my blog and the cool comments.
Have a very nice week Cindi.
Hugs.

I am huge fan of Doraemon though. I love how that little animal?UFO? whatever he is makes up anything to make life easier. I remember one episode where “Novita” ( the boy) was preparing himself for an exam and as he couldn’t study everything Doraemon took off from misterious pocket bread slices. He did spread them into the notes and then the boy ate the slices so he remembered everything! WHY DON’T I HAVE THIS KIND OF BREAD? LOL
I have watched Chin Chan. He is very famouse over here and he sings a song which says: ” Butty butt!” hahahahaha REALLY! he is sooooo fun! :D:D:D
