Oh, wow, the first pic looks like little water falls. So is that City also located in Malaysia? There are beautiful palms over there. Here of course we have none, as it’s so cold generally and cloudy, foggy. Summer is the only warm time over here in general.
Interesting pictures.
Answering to your question, since the snow I talked about last Thursday, that snow on the sides of the roads and highways has not melted but become white ice (so hardened).
Related to the highways and streets, they got kind of wipped off by special trucks from the government of this State that Thursday later by noon, which helped to clear the way for the cars, but still the highways and streets remained with some “black ice” (that is what is called when there is some humidity on the roads and since it gets so cold, becomes ice. So you don’t see it but it’s there, so you have to be very careful by not driving too fast because you can slip so bad that can crash into someone else and viceversa).
So, things were getting better related to safeness on the highways, but today morning it started another snow storm, so again all roads and highways got lots of snow and since the ice from the other days has not melted it’s so unsafe to drive on it.
Brian & I did not go to work again. I wanted to go so far, but Brian says it’s not worth risking ourselves. I had never seen any snow until I got to here, so I really don’t know as much as he does. He has been living here all his life, so he knows when it can be safer and when it can’t to take the chance and driving all that highway to work.
The forecast for tomorrow says it’s going to be in the 40′s, so definitely Brian says all that ice and snow we have is going to melt. So it will be safe to drive all that way to work. So, we’ll see.
I took a brief video of the snow at home today morning.
I will try to post it in the blog. Hope you like it.
Ok, take care Cindi.
Thanks for your e-mail address. I will send you mine via e-mail.
Very interesting your b/f is Chinese. I bet the Chinese new year’s celebration is very fun. So do Chinese also dance in their parties? I think they do? I have seen some times some typical Chinese dancings where they dance with lion’s customes and such. It seemed interesting to me.
Okies, for now I say bye. Take care.
Hugs,
Gabriela. :angel::dance::D:party:

Cindy. I read your comment where you said you don’t like people chopping trees. And I agree with you.
Related to the tree that I said in my post that Brian & I will have chopped off sometime, the thing is that I am so scared that it will eventually fall down on Brian & I’s house. Brian and other people said it would not fall down on the house at all. Well, some months ago one thiner fell down on one side of the house, but luckily it did not damage that much of the house, just one very little part of the roof. But this one I want to have cut off is so huge and heavy.
Oh, well, I will talk with some people who works with trees, etc., and ask if it is unsafe or if Brian & I just leave it like that.
Talk to you later.
