I had a rather quiet New Year this year.

I was at a friend’s wedding earlier, and look what I saw on my table upon arrival:

A gift for me! Woot!

Everyone got one too!!

Wow, it’s been a while since I get a gift for attending wedding dinners. Most of the weddings I attended couldn’t be bothered to even give a “Thank You” note on our table, or at least a piece of cake kept inside a cute heart-shaped box.

The last time I get “Thank You” gifts from the newlyweds were of my brother. On his wedding day, they gave away this very lovely looking lavender colored bags (decorated with lavender flowers) filled with heart shaped chocolates. So cute that I couldn’t get myself to eat the chocolates. *teehee*

The food was great. We had like 6-7 types of dishes coming to our table.. and I was too busy eating to take photos. Sorry.

But I managed to take a photo of the wedding cake tho.

I took this photo because I got SO excited when I saw the waiter carrying a plate of cakes towards our table. You see, we don’t really get to eat wedding cakes over here too – because most of the newlyweds would have this cake cutting ceremony and all of us would CLAP CLAP CLAP for them and end up not getting to taste their cake. *sigh*
But tonight we do, so… here’s another TOAST for the couple tonight! YaY!!!

..but I was kinda disappointed tho. I was hoping that the cake toppings were sugar icing, instead.. it was fresh cream. LoL

And then the last dish of the night arrived…

I ate the “bunny’s” head!

So after the wedding dinner, I went back home, 5 minutes left to New Year 2007.

Grabbed a bottle of beer.

5 minutes later.

“Happy New Year!!!!!!”

*fireworks*

..and I grabbed my 2nd bottle.
