I have to admit that I’m an addict. I’ve been spending my free time watching countless DVDs. The whole season of Nip/Tuck, Stranger Than Fiction, Dreamgirls, Babel, In Pursuit of Happyness, Marie Antoinette and heaven-knows-what-else I watched.
Did I ever told you how emotional I could be just by watching sad movies? I remember watching Titanic when I was “slightly” younger and when it came to the part when the ship was about to sink, my heart began to pound. And then it came to the part where this old couple lying on the bed holding hands so they would die together, my tears began to fall. The death of Jack Dawson finally came and I began to sob. (oh admit it, you cried on that part too! Didn’t you??!) That night, I couldn’t go to sleep. I kept imagining how horrible it must’ve been for the people who died in that ship back in April 12th, 1912.
Two nights ago I watched the final series of Nip/Tuck season 4. Both Shawn & Christian separated from their partners. I felt sad. Such BAD ending. That show got me so emotional, I actually had night mare when I go to sleep. (I dreamed of dragons! Woot, I saw REAL dragons!)
Before going to bed last night, I watched Marie Antoinette. I’ve read about her years ago from the Internet. Her life story was so sad and interesting at the same time, that I wanted to “watch” her in movies. At the end of the show, I was feeling ok – because the movie ended with a picture of her ransacked home. I wasn’t satisfied with the movie tho, so I went to the Internet again to read about her.. and only to be reminded by her execution once again.
Again, I got emotional.
Damn it, I need more funny movies. These sad movies are making me sooooo emotional, people might think I’m crazy. So to those of you who plan to spend the weekend on DVDs, please don’t get overdose with sad movies. (unless you have a heart of stone that is. keh..keh..)
Trust me, it’s no fun having these “sad feelings”..

I cry during movies too, and I’ve gotten to the point where my bf gets the towel ready before we started watching emo movies
If you think you’re crazy, I hope you feel better knowing that I cried watching Mulan, Nemo, Shrek… Yea, CARTOONS!
