I can never have enough of Japanese food. Last week I had Chicken Katsu Don, today I went to the same restaurant again and ordered Chicken Teriyaki Set. Mmmmmm…. yummy! I think I prefer Teriyaki more than Katsu Don. At least there’s no wet fried eggs on top of my chicken.
I like this food so much, I’ll post the recipe here. – in case I feel like cooking my own Teriyaki someday. *teehee*
- 2 chicken breasts, whole, split in half
- ½ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup dry sherry
- 1 tbs. sugar
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- ½ tsp. ground ginger
Arrange chicken, skin side up, in a single layer in a shallow dish.
Combine soy sauce, sherry, sugar, garlic, and ginger in a jar with a tight-fitting lid. Shake vigorously and pour over chicken. Marinate in refrigerator 2 hours, turning once or twice. Preheat broiler.
Remove chicken from marinade. Spray rack in broiler pan with vegetable spray. Transfer chicken to rack. Broil about 10 minutes about 6 inches from heat, turning once and basting with marinade.

Hello Cindi. Thanks for your nice comment in my last post.
Hey, that food looks so delicious. I love Japanese and Chinese food a lot.
Hey, your new blog layout looks so pretty. I guess that is the doll I have liked most from all the ones you have made. All the previous ones were pretty too though. But this current one I like it a lot.
Take care and happy weekend.
Hugs,
Gabriela. :):dance::party:
