I was at a supermarket earlier to buy some food when I noticed a beautiful banana tree at the corner of the fruit section. I thought “Oh my! How on earth did they manage to grow a banana inside??” so the kepoh curiosity in me drove me toward the tree, touching the leaf. “Bah! It’s artificial!”

Yes, my friends. We see lots of beautiful, green plants around is. In the office, at the banks .. even in shopping malls. Have it occurred to you that those plants are not real? Did you know that there are people who uses artificial grass at their lawn as well?? Oh my, I thought these only exist in soccer fields! I don’t know why artificial grasses are gaining it’s popularity at homes now, perhaps it’s because artificial grass requires very low maintenance. For starters, artificial grasses don’t require watering, gone are the days for fertilizer, pesticides or weed killer. Finally you can stop asking your children to mow the lawn too.

But are they really good? Mmm.. well it depends on an individual I guess, but honestly, I still prefer REAL grasses in lawn – unless the grass starts dying, making the lawn look really bad – then I might opt for an artificial grass.
