As early as 7 o’clock in the morning, I got hungry so I went to the mamak stall nearby for some food. I don’t normally take breakfast but today, I got hungry too early. *giggles* I also took a few photos for you to see the typical, local Malaysian food.
In every normal mamak stall, this is what you’d normally see, waiting to greet you on the table.

Packets of nasi lemak, fried mee hoon & hard boiled eggs.

Nasi lemak (steamed rice with coconut milk) topped with burning HOT (spicy) chili, ikan bilis (anchovies) and a ΒΌ of hard boiled egg. The chilis were EXTRA hot I almost cried!

Fried mee hoon. Yum!
(It might not look attractive in the photo but trust me, it was yummy!)

Breakfast is not complete without a glass of mamak Iced Tea. *grins* Refrrrrrrreshing!
Well that’s about all the photos I took. The guy sitting behind me gave a weird look the moment I took my camera out to take photos of those food so I don’t feel comfortable taking more photos. Besides, I was really hungry.

I’ll try anything once but I don’t like spicy food

I especially like nasi lemak packed in banana leaves (like in your picture) because I think they taste nicer too
And for somebody who’s been staying in Terengganu for the past 6 years, drinking “teh O ais limau” becomes a routine!!

I love the look.
The girl looks a bit like the neighbouring woman.
The food… yummy. Although I doubt a bit about anjofish in the morning.
It looks like breakfast is dinnerfood. LOL!
About the oldest.
I was terribly upset, and it ads more to the feeling I really need a vacation.
We’ve never had any help with him, and maybe this makes his social worker clear that he is not as grown up as she thought.
When you meet him he looks quite normal. With the typical puberty boy’s skin. When yoyu alk about the weather and so, he is also quite normal,
but yoyu start to sense something when you really have to deal with him.
Even though I told her at the first session that he always needs someone to keep his appointments and remember things for him, and it would come ion handy to have one of his parents there, because he turns the truth, she wanted to talk with him herself. She felt herself quite a kind person to grant us the privilige to talk to her before she would make her report.
You get the way she acted to us?
Now he lied about what she said to him and I mailed her about that through her supervisor, she suddenly wants us around.
I so hope they now will make the right decision about his living facilities.
I’ll miss him, but we all will be better off when he is somewhere, where they don’t put so much pressure on him.
Maybe they have an influence on him. Strange eyes work wonders.
I hope so!
Well, at the moment I’m glad to have something myself: we’re going to get the bagpipes next saturday…toohooo!!!!
Give me that meehoon….yummy!! LOL!
