Oh, I noticed from my WordPress Admin that Lilian tagged me!
Hmm.. OK, this is what I’m supposed to do. (kind of interesting I’d say! :P)
1) Go to PopCulture site
2) Pick the year you turn 18 years old
3) Get yourself nostalgic over the songs. (LOL!)
4) Mesmerize over those songs, write something about it. This is what I am interested to read.
5) Pass it on to five more friends.
6) Wait, there’s a catch to it. Do not delete the links of the five person you tagged.
Let the list grow bigger and bigger. Meaning, 5+5+5 until someone killed it.

My memories?
I started going to Form 6 (High school?) and was made to sign-up for the Orientation Week. Everyone who started their Junior Form 6 would HAVE to sign-up.. there’s no way of getting out of this.
During the Orientation, we were each given a piece of paper with all the Senior’s name – which we were required to have AT LEAST 10 signatures PER DAY. O man, I tell you.. it wasn’t easy to get even ONE signature. The seniors would make us do stupid stuff like going to the top of the school building at 6AM and do a “cuckoo” to wake everyone up. (Yea, we were required to stay at the school hostel for the whole week!) To add insult to injury, everyone were required to have AN EGG on their hand wherever they go. Be it taking shower, jogging, soccer… basically everywhere!

I broke my egg on the 2nd of Orientation by the way.. I forgot I was holding one when I ran to the canteen.
So I was made to carry a BRICK as a “reward”. *sigh*
One of the senior happened to be my brother’s friend.. so I got the most torture from him!! During a moment of silent in the hall, I was asked to stand on the table and sing a Marilyn Monroe’s song! The next morning, 5 of us (my group) were made to line up at the road side, sitting inside a dry drain (eew) with only our head out. We were to shout and wave “BYEEEEE!” to every passer-by that passes the roadside. LOL!
With all the shouts, screams and scolding I got from the Seniors.. I never dropped a tear. I was a very brave girl then.. Ehehehe.. Until one night, my patience was put to test. My name tag’s string (a HUGE name tag, mind you) broke during an assembly so a Senior screamed at my face:
“CINDY!! GET YOUR NAME TAG FIXED RIGHT NOW!!!”
I hurriedly tried to re-attach the string to my name tag when another Senior screamed to my face:
“WHY THE HELL ARE YOU NOT STANDING STRAIGHT DURING AN ASSEMBLY??!!”
So I stood straight once again, ignoring my un-fixed string. The first Senior screamed again:
“I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO FIX YOUR NAME TAG??!!!”
Ohh.. I cannot tahan liao.. I started to cry!
A nice Senior by the name of May approached me and offered to fix my name tag while I sob silently…
Well to make story short, at the end of the Orientation.. my group won THE BEST PERFORMANCE for our 15mins drama show on stage. I was the writer of the drama^^
I also won THE BEST FRESHIE OF 1996!! Hurray!!!

So that’s one of my best memory when I was 18 years.
