I sure would have felt offended by her looking, but I would have called the waitress and have told her to help the lady making the right choice. That way I wouldn't have gotten more irritated and she would have felt ashamed. I think you should have had your plate for free, because you had to wait extra long due to a mistake of the restaurant.
