I renewed my domain name and the host for this blog last week, and my how time flies. I remember blogging in my first free website in Geocities. A very simple blog that nobody reads – because I hardly know anyone on the Net. Too bad I never took a screenshot of my first blog. It would be awesome if I did, because I’d be able to look at it and laugh at my attempt in creating a website. Lame colorful background with eye-poking blinking names of mine and the Website title. LOL.

And then I made my first purchase from a local host that I found on the Net. This time, I made my blog decorated with my own, handmade graphics. Thank goodness I have a photo of it!

In 2002, I created a blog called ‘Cindy’s Chatterbox’. It was Susanna sho suggested me to buy the cinderellaland.com. And if you could see in the photo, there’s a small photo of my first pen tablet, the Wacom Pen Tablet. I used Wacom Pen Tablet for all my graphics drawing and I managed to announce it in my blog too. *teehee* If you look to the right side, in the Chatterbox, you would notice Imbi commenting, “So, what’s a Wacom Pen Tablet?” Aww.. those were the days. The cinderellaland.com domain name has since expired after I took a hiatus from the Blogging & Graphic Drawing world.. and someone else has taken over that name.

And then in 2005, I started blogging again on a free host at Blogger. It was quite fun getting to meet my old Internet friends again who used to share the same interest with country graphics. I get to meet my old friends Miriam, Susanna, Imbi and Ria once again!

Then I bought a domain for myself – forevertulip.com – and calling my blog.. ‘Cindy’s Chatterbox’. I started to hate the sound of it, I rename it to ‘Strange Foreign Beauty ..and then I changed the name again! I didn’t want people to think that I was copying Michael Learns To Rock, so I rename it to Foreign Beauty. I know. I’m such a confused girl.. hence the Inside the Mind of A Confused Sumandak.

So what have I contributed to the making of Foreign Beauty’s look? I certainly DID some makeup on her for sure. Here are the screenshots of all the theme I’ve coded for this blog so far in less than a year..

The header was made of Flash with snowflakes falling. I love the header.

My Valentine’s Day theme that I called Nailpolish.

My Chinese New Year theme that I named Gong Xi.
I love the Chinese girl on the header. I was hoping that the red theme would bring me some luck this year.

Sherbet theme. Made with lots of love for my candy cravings.

My Diary theme only lasted a week on my blog. LOL!
It was replaced with another theme right after..

My most favorite theme of all, the Kadazan theme.
Complete with a header of a Kadazan girl with high-arched brow wearing a Kadazan costume, sitting on a banana leaf. Very Asian, very tropical, very Kadazan, very me. I’m a Kadazan, if you haven’t noticed.

My Easter themed blog called Bunny Girl. My first 3 column blog.

So.. that’s about all the theme I’ve made for my blog so far. All in less than a year. As you can see, I’m still using the same theme as my previous one (Bunny Girl) because I’m too lazy to code another one. I figured I’ll just edit my theme from time to time, besides, I really love my 3 column blog so far.

I still do not know what I’m going to do with my previous themes tho. Ehehehehe..

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank my friends and readers who has been a loyal reader of my sometimes very confusing blog. It’s been a pleasure meeting you all and I hope that we all would continue blogging and make the Internet a better place to be.
