I got nothing better to do today, so I randomly Googled every names that I could think of, in the hope that I might find something about them. Hey, I am not stalking, ok? I just need to feed my thirst of knowledge.
Guess who I Googled? The rich guy in the famous TV Series, Heroes – Mr. Lindemann. And guess what?? There is ACTUALLY a real man in this World that comes by that name! George Lindemann Jr. is actually a billionaire and is listed in The Forbes magazine! And here’s another cool fact about him, Mr. Lindemann is also an influential philanthropist and supporter of the Miami Arts Community! Just like the other Lindemann in Heroes who is also an Art collector.
Hmmm.. Do you think they created that character based on the real Mr. Lindemann?

I believe so.. can’t be so many coincidence.
Perhaps I think it was intentional.

Jewelle: Wow, it would be a very long list for me. LOL. But to be honest, I don’t use much of the consumer makeup that you see at the makeup counters. What the makeup artists use are those that are more advanced ones and is more “user friendly” when applied to the face (blends easily, what you see is what you get kind of color.. etc). Those are branded makeup that we call “advanced” makeup? These makeup gives different effect and color as compared to the normal ones you see in the makeup counter. Aiya, how to say ar? Maybe I’ll post some photos sometime lah.
However, sometimes, yes, I still use branded makeups like MAC, Chanel (my fav!), Bobbi Brown, Estee Lauder, Makeup Forever, Shu Uemura etc. Amongst my fav are:
-CHANEL have a wide range of beautiful eyeshadow colors. They are one of my fav, especially the Les 4 Ombres collection.
-MAC Lipglass (serves as a lipgloss + color stay lipstick)
-MAC liquid foundation (it’s so easy to mix & match them to your skin, light textured too)
-Lancome has the best mascara!
-Shu Uemura’s fake lashes are my favorite!
..and many more.
As for Benefit, I’m not really sure because I hardly use them. But their Dr. Feelgood is an awesome product!
It depends lah, I think, Jewelle. If you want to have a more “artistic” kind of makeup color, I’d say go for MAC. They have so many choice of colors, vibrant ones, suitable for a stage makeup like. But if you’re into a soft, au naturel kind, maybe Estee Lauder or Benefit?
In the end, it really doesn’t matter which branded makeup you go for, it still depends solely on how you apply them on your face. With the right technique, a cheap makeup could make you look like a beauty queen too!

Fabulous! Thanks for the tips :-) I was actually thinking of getting Dr. Feelgood and now I’m definitely going to get them. As I said my bro in law is in texas right now so making my shopping list of what to get! I’m more of a natural look kind of person and I have used Estee Lauder but with so many choices, bikin pening saja. I was also thinking of the MAC liquid foundations..hey, did we read the same magazine?! LOL
Ok babe, thanks for those tips!
