Was traveling in a car with a friend today when she brought up the topic of:
” Why most Malaysian uses a twig or tree branches at the back of their car instead of that red-colored triangular thing when their car breaks down in the middle of the road? “
We couldn’t find any more good reason but these:
* They are too stingy to buy the red-colored triangular thingy.
* They usually find their red-colored triangular thingy stolen after leaving the spot to seek for help.
* Branches are cheaper. :B
What do you think?

Ei seriously, where can we buy the red triangle? I’ve been meaning to buy one, but don’t know where to buy one from! :)
serious ka? ppl using branches? :x
Most of the time, they don’t have the triangle thingy around. So you grab the next best thing la.. tree branch/twigs. Of course at night it doesn’t serve much purpose since it does not reflect light..which reminds me of making sure my car still have one…
They do? LOL. I haven’t seen this before. Possible reasons is that they trust their Malaysian made car so much that they think it’s indestructible. :-P
hehe, me malaysian never know where to buy the triangle thing actually. Never before i saw it at anywhere, so if let say, the car break down middle of the road, the only thing u can use which no need to pay / you can find would be branches or twig :B
Hahahah!! People will steal it? Man what’s wrong with them! Hehehaha! I think that they totally forgotten about it once their car breaks down! Hehehe! All they can think about is, “What to do now?? NOOOoooOOOooooOOOooOOOOoo!!!”
Hmm…it’s more interesting why their cars break down. LOL!
How are you doing?
Here it’s so very bussy…
Tomorrow I have a meeting with a friend of university.
I’m kind of nervous and curious.
Higggss
Wow Imbi, going out on a date? :B
Coz no cars have that red triangle thingy here! Whats the point when you know it’ll get stolen the moment you leave the car right? LOL!
If you wanna buy one… go to any car accessory shop..they have this emergency kit..with the towing rope, jumper cable and the triange. Carefore , TESCO and Giant have them too..under the car section,.
While UR at it…get a hi-Vis jacket too (pair of them) so if you need to change tyre etc…wear them..so pple can see U from far…. or like wise…and if you breakdown at night on highway, get out of the car..and far far away from the kerb…with the hivis too! So if help arrives, they can see U clearly.
Best wishes.

(and yeah..they are expensive. Good HiVis jackets cost abotu $50 each!)
I ever put my son’s small chair like 10 feet from my broken car. :P cheap mah.
No…no date. :*(
He’s already married with anniversaries and all.
I asked him to talk with one of my boys a long while ago, and he tried to get some insight.
He called a few weeks ago and made an appoinment…and I forgot to ask why. LOL!
I think it’s about my son, but it also might be about a reunion of our group, or just coffee and curiosity….
I feel a bit embarrassed… I have grown so much… He just remembers me as the long tall and thin girl…
Keep your fingers crossed it’s fun…. and he doesn’t try to be my psychologist… I either start to cry or scream. LOL!
I thought the triangle comes with the car when you bought it (car)?
And the red triangle is always placed 10 feet away from teh car when by right it should be 50 meters. You think an 18-wheeler truck is gonna stop within 10 feet?
