.. at least at home.
A friend invited me over for a cup of tea (I’m not a coffee person) because she wanted to tell me the latest gossip show me her latest addition in her family. A dog. She got a Terrier.
She bragged to me how cute the puppy is and how her kids would show some jealousy whenever she plays with it. She was glowing with a motherly look, if you ask me.
“Did you know that I learn everything about dog care from the Internet?”
“Er.. no.”
“Let me show you my favorite website!”
We head to the computer at the corner of her living room.
“Mommy, how come I don’t get to play with the Internet?” came a question from her son.
“Because we only have ONE Internet connection at home. And that is on MY computer!”
I stared at her and whispered, “Your kids’ computers are not connected to the Internet?”
“No. I don’t know how to connect it to them lah.”
“Oh for goodness sake, use the network cables or a wireless connection lah!! Ask your husband to do it!”
There. I helped her solve one of her daily headaches. *tee hee hee*
Ain’t I smart?

And when the kids end up surfing to all the “prawn” sites due to lack of parental supervision it will be all your fault… :-)
