Do you get free advertisement pamphlets at your house gate or the mailbox everyday? Well, I do. And I must say, these advertisements, annoying as they can be – sometimes still manages to make me smile. That’s the only “place” where you could see goofy photographs of people promoting their shops and products. 
Like for example the advertisement for their hair salon. It’s really funny seeing how they pose for the ad, especially when they came up with the idea of having a “Before” and “After” photos – which doesn’t show much difference at all. One thing I could comment on their ad, oh no, make it TWO thing was the bad photography (they should learn the wonders of Photoshop) and bad pose. LOL!!!! They gave me an impression that if I go to their salon, I would look like THAT! Wahahahahahah!

Yesterday, I got 3 ad pamphlets promoting some slimming centers! Eek! Is this a sign that I need to get myself into these places to slim down?!! They’re not that expensive tho.. like RM20 per session only!! But anyway, I’m not interested lah. I doubt that it’ll work, anyway. That’s too cheap! It’s probably just a marketing tactic…
I got furniture ad on the mailbox today tho. Some furniture store having some MEGA sale on their products. Eh, not bad. Their sofas, dining tables, conference tables, slanting wardrobe – everything is on sale! Very cheap too! I especially love the L-shaped sofa. Would be really nice to have one for the TV room. *heehee*
Anyway, Ima sticking to me new mantra.

Good luck with the new mantra. It will take a lot of self restraint… hehe. Maybe next time when you’re out, keep the credit cards at home and bring only RM50 with you!

Nessa : Oh.. I have no problem with my credit card. I bring them wherever I go, but I’ve never used them. I guess I’m proud to say that I am able to control myself when it comes to credit card. I only use them for online payments tho.. like phone bills and online shopping.
But CASH?? Cannot!! Tangan gatal wanna spend. LOL! Maybe I should just bring RM50 on my next visit to the mall. Cukup for makan only. Haha!

How often do you go shopping in a month? more than 5 times? if you still can’t control your shopping addiction, bring a friend and tell her to stop you from buying.

Ann : Thank goodness I don’t shop more than 5 times in a month! Hahahaha! Kalau more than 5 times in a month, makan Maggi saja lah everyday. LOL!

Do you know, Dennis JUST the other day realized that they photo shop the people that they put on magazine covers and in advertisements? Like that they photo shop the after and/or the before??

Erin : LOL ya! The magazines Photoshop the photos a lot!! The “before” and “after” photos mostly are too obvious that they were Photoshopped.
