A friend dropped by for a chit-chat today, armed with the latest “update”.
“Eh, have you heard.. C got retrenched from the bank!”
“Har? Another retrenchment?? I thought that was long ago?!”
“Ya laa.. quite long lar. But she bought a new car with the retrenchment money. I saw her in her brand new car.. sungguh bergaya!”
“Wah.. no need to save, huh?”
“Alaa.. lots of money ma..”
Moment of silence. Probably ada malaikat limpas. (an angel passes by)
“Eh, I thought your neighbor works in the bank too?” she asked.
“Ya, why? He got retrenched too?!”
“How I know?!!! He’s your neighbor lah!”
..Just then, we saw a big truck bearing the logo OSIM arrived. Parked at the front gate beside my apartment. A worker came out, carrying an expensive OSIM massage chair to the “banker neighbor” next door. Probably cost RM10,000 that chair. I’m not sure.
“Maybe he got retrenched too…”

Ha!Ha! Wishfull thinking! U wouldn’t get a single cents wan First u will be transfer to ulu Sarawak to leave with orang utan. After a few day u can’t stand the orang utan, u resign on ur own.

Erin : It’s like.. when a company decided to cut cost on their wage/salary allocation, they’ll fire some staff with some compensation. Something like that.
