This particular news caught my attention on Yahoo! today. A donkey trapped inside an abandoned well.
My first reaction was:
“Oh.. that poor donkey!”
You see, I’m an animal lover. I treat my pets like they’re my family. Heck, I feed my dogs with whatever it is I’m eating – that includes chewing gum! LOL!
Back to the donkey news. Apparently, the donkey wandered away from its farm and onto some boards covering the well, which broke and fell inside. Firefighters quickly realized that the animal, which belongs to farmer Warren Gundberg, couldn’t just be pulled from the abandoned well on Bryan Nelson’s land, so they dismantled the well block by block. Once one wall had been taken apart, firefighters put a harness around the donkey and guided it out with a rope.
This is what the donkey owner had to say to him when he was rescued to safety:
“I bet you’ll think twice about doing that again. If you would have stayed home you wouldn’t be in this trouble.”
LOL! But I’m glad the donkey’s safe.

Luckily they managed to save the donkey. But in overseas, i believe lah they will dismantle anything to save animals. Here?? Umm… I don’t think so.
I saw a clip on Animal Planet where they opened a ROAD, to rescue a puppy who was stuck underneath because it went through a drain hole.
Cindy: Ya lar.. here in Malaysia, I doubt they’re gonna go to that extent for an animal.

Macam mana la itu donley boleh masuk well? Hmmm, maybe it was thirsty. Kalau di sini, finders keepers. Tiada harapan la the owner get to see his donkey again
Cindy: HAHAHAHAHAHAH! Finders keepers. LOL!!! True, true… we tend to lose our precious pets sometimes too.. Mesti kes kena curi ni..
