I don’t know how my neighbors did it. They yell, they cook, they cackle, they scream, they gossip. I want to know HOW they get the energy to do that and WHERE the heck did they get their source for their daily evening gossips?!
Introducing, my two desperate housewives neighbor.
Remember my previous post about them? I even sketched a drawing to describe about these two desperate housewives..

As you can see, these two housewives were separated by a huge wall between their kitchen – so there’s no way they could see each other’s face, unless of course if one of them were feeling adventurous and climb out the balcony, balance herself and pop her head through the wall. With a wall as thick as that, one would think that these two women would be tired of talking to each other because they practically have to yell in order for the other party to hear what they’re talking about. But NOOOOOOOO, there’s no stopping to these two women from yelling about the latest gossip and findings in the neighborhood.
This afternoon while I was seated on the toilet bowl trying to do my “business” (with the Harry Potter book on my hand), I could CLEARLY hear every single words they said. Even better, I got the latest news of the neighborhood: I know who’s husband is going off to Singapore with his mistress, I know which neighbor had her maid jumping from 2nd floor and broke her leg in an attempt to run away, I know which neighbor just moved in, which neighbor had a priest coming over to bless their new home, which neighbor uses the complete set of SKII… Oh my, I am so full of knowledge about my neighborhood! I tell you, my neighbors are like ASTRO!
Wanna know the worse part?
One of the lady’s husband came back and he joined the gossip fest!!
Gosh, if I have the money, I’ll buy each of them college football tickets so they could get out of the house and give me silence for a while. :-P (sorry for the short advertisement. have to make money also lah)
Honestly speaking, I don’t mind if they want to gossip all day long but I do mind their yellings. It’s annoying enough to hear them yell, now I have to endure their gossips and their tones every single day. You know when ladies are gossiping, they have this very annoying tone in their sentences.. have you ever noticed that?
Anyway, what do you think will happen if one of these days I go over to my kitchen and yell at them to STFU? Think I’ll be the next victim of their gossip fest? Or should I just join them? You know.. like the saying goes: If you can’t beat them, join them.
But on second thought, I think I’d rather stick to blogging where I can gossip about them silently instead. :-P

So were you ever their subject of gossips?
Cindy: So far I’ve never heard they mentioned about me. Thank goodness!!

Oh no! Annoying neighbors are everywhere!
Cindy, better stick to blogging because ah once you start joining them, you might never have the time to blog again. They will knock on your wall every time they have hot gossips to share.

Haha, it’s actually nice to have quite a lively neighbour.. Rather than the “it’s none of business type”… At least you know the latest gossip without really joining them ;-)
