I have always wanted to learn violin.. and finally I got one for myself. Yay!! (^o^)
Got this violin last week but never had the chance to show off on this blog. :-P
Well, I know nuts about violin before purchasing this. The only thing I know about it was that the “thing” you use to rub against the strings is called the “bow”. I learned that from the Internet a few days before buying the violin. Hahah! And mind you, while I was paying and inquiring about signing up for a violin lesson at the music store, along came a little girl (about the age of 5) with a violin bag in her hand getting ready for her violin lesson. I jokingly asked if I would be their OLDEST violin student, they laughed! I think that’s a YES…
To make long story short, I’m taking violin lesson soon. I was supposed to start this week but since I wasn’t feeling very well, I decided to postpone it to January next year. December is not a free month for me since I’ll be spending most of my holidays back home. However, I DID manage to learn how to play the violin on my own. Last Sunday, I managed to play a tune without the help of a book or a tutor! Woohoo! Took a video of it too and gave the honors to my parents and brother to experience my first Mary Had A Little Lamb! Nyahahahah!!
Well, for you people out there who’s still looking for new things to learn, why not try violin?
It’s never too late to learn something new!

whoaaa cin…that is so cool!
i always look up on people especially women who knows how to play music instruments. dunno why.
i tried learning to play guitar before…but really, it was damn hard for me.
Hehehe.. baru start bah this.. still a beginner. Oh, I tried guitar too. Could play some simple song for it but I gave up after some time. True, damn hard to play guitar. Turned to piano and violin instead. Haha.

Eh, actually violin and piano is much tougher than the guitar. I play the guitar and for the life of me, simply cannot play the piano, my other fav instrument. Life is unfair. :-P
True dat, life’s so unfair. :-P But it’s not too late for you to take piano classes bah. You can do it! Hehehe..

Hi Cindy.. OMG it’s been ages never jenguk here and suddenly I read this post about you want to learn violin. Good on you girl!
Anyway, since we are in the subject about violin, I suggest you to check out David Garrett (handsome oh this guy), he plays the violin too (he’s a pro and he’s awesome!!)

i totally adore ppl who can play violin. My fav is one of the corrs sister..siok man..u shud hear her play. sumber inspirasi.
Ya bah, last time they all very famous. I remember one of the sister always plays the violin punya. Sexy oh nampak kan? ;D

I have.. well not mine.. the late grandpa.. violin at home. As much as I tried.. the sound is so so out of tune. No wonder guitar also i dont know how to play
