DIY Valentine’s Day Project

15th Feb 2010

I guess it’s not too late to post about a new project you can do for Valentine’s Day – unless you only celebrate The Day of Love on Feb 14th that is. For me, I celebrate love anytime. Any day. Everyday. :-D

So here’s one idea to help you save on those expensive chocolates and gifts on Valentine’s Day:

Let’s do some awesome paper cutting!

Paper cutting has been a craft for many years in many countries all over the world. In Germany, the art of paper-cutting design is called “scherenschnitte,” which literally means scissor-cuttings. It was a popular folk art in the 1800s, used to decorate birth and marriage certificates and even Christmas decorations.

I think your loved ones would really love this sweet framed paper cut. Beats those expensive ready-made gifts you can find in the shops, ya? Besides, working on this project is so much better than reading those acne scar removal, no? lol
