Been pining over Katie Alice’s products lately. Last week, I just purchased 2 sets of Katie Alice Candy Flower Porcelain Handled Tea Spoon and already I can’t wait to use them. Another Katie Alice item that I really, really, REALLY need (yes, NEED over WANT) is the Katie Alice Flower Shabby Chic Pink Spot Polka Dot Cutlery Set.
It’s currently unavailable anywhere – eBay, Amazon, Katie Alice website, fishpond etc! And it’s so frustrating when you wanted something so bad (lol) and they’re not within your reach. *sigh*
I really hope Katie Alice reads this and will consider sending one to me. Ha ha

Unfortunately, these babies are SUPER expensive (after converting them to MYR) and to date, I only have the 2 tier Grassland Roads Just Dessert Cupcake Stand (the one in pink & green color).
Will be purchasing the rest when I’ve saved enough. Perfect for family heirloom. lol

In less than a month, we’ll be moving to a brand new home and I am all excited! I’m already buying some stuff online for the new home (not so expensive stuff tho, since I am saving for wardrobes and air-conditioner. :P)
And then it dawned on me that the current floral-printed sofa set I have are pretty ugly looking now. No thanks to my mom’s pet dog who kept chewing the corners of the sofa whenever we go out (despite all the stern warnings.. ha ha) and 2 years worth of dusts. *blush* I know, I know… I should’ve cleaned them all the time but the the covers are WHITE in color and it’s really hard to get them dirts off. And no thanks to the man who custom made the sofa for us – I wanted it specifically to be a removable slipcover but he end up making a permanent one..
Anyway, about the sofa. I actually plan on throwing them away (or maybe give them away to the apartment’s gardener) when a little voice told me to Google ‘sofa slipcover DIY‘.
I did and I found this page!!
How hard can it be to DIY a slipcover, right? :P
Upon reading her tutorial, I somehow could foresee that my floral-printed sofa will be moving to the new house with me after all. *Ü* I am not the type of person who’s good with sewing machine (although back in my high school days, I did make a baju Kedah for myself. lol) and I do not know how my DIY sofa slipcover will end up looking, but I will trust the words from Psalm 32:8.
“I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.”
I will update you the result of the sofa slipcover once it’s done.
For now, I will leave you with a picture of my dog sleeping early this afternoon. He was feeling so warm that he begged me to turn on the A/C for him. Soon as I did, he fell asleep! *Ü*

my current obsession
her voice could bring me to places. places where i never thought i’d be ‘going’ to…
The past couple months have been filled with a great many things! We rescued a stray puppy, a visit from an old friend in Australia, an early birthday gift surprise from my mother, new projects from faithful clients .. and a few online shoppings!
One of the few things I got online was this:
A cute pink cotton scarf adorned with tiny little cute felt clouds. Perfect for the cold night-outs when I’m out watching movies with my loved ones. To be honest, working from home has given me nothing but so much joy: being able to work in my mini studio, surrounded by people I love – and my pets too!
Oh how wonderfully true this is:
“There is nothing better for a person than that he should eat and drink and find enjoyment in his toil. This also, I saw, is from the hand of God, for apart from Him who can eat or who can have enjoyment?” —Ecclesiastes 2:24-25
To top it off, I can shop from the comfort of my home anytime I want, without having to go through the hot sun outside or having to get dressed properly. I can have my messy, unruly hair and pimple on my nose for all I care and still shop without having anyone staring at me.
Yes, that’s the beauty of online shopping. That said, I am planning on getting a red dress for myself tonight. For this, I’m going to get them from Zalora Malaysia. They have wide variety of glamorous dresses to choose from! I know this because I’ve bought a gold-colored shoes recently from them and I’m totally in love with it – almost got myself a dress as well, but I was already out of budget then. Now that I have a reason to buy a dress (my brother’s getting married and their wedding theme is RED), I will get myself a red dress tonight by hook or by crook. :-)
