Life’s meaningless without your loved ones.

lil sister

14th Aug 2016

So my sister was around last weekend before she flew to Kuching for the Rainforest World Music Fest. During that short visit back home, we managed to do a lil bit of shopping (window shopping included). She got me this unique bracelet from one the of local seller at the mall, it has this pink mini sandal hanging on it – which reminds me so much of the sandy beach.

It was a day filled with foods and lots of walking (under the hot sun!) but fun nonetheless. It got me thinking that I haven’t been spending a lot of time with my lil sister – which is sad, really. I think the only time we actually spent some time together was that time when we did a lil pilgrimage with my parents. My sister and I shared the same room and we spent the nights eating kek lapis Sarawak in the hotel room! Ha ha!

I should make time and spend some quality time with her before she got married and have kids of her own! lol. I guess next year’s Rainforest World Music Festival will be seeing me and my sister together again. In Kuching. Again. I think sisters should go on a vacation together whenever they can. You don’t need a reason for it, just go and spend some time together while you still can.

Rainforest World Music Festival 2017 – we are coming!!!

it came upon a midnight clear..

27th Dec 2015

So Christmas 2015 is over. All the presents are opened, all the rum-filled fruit cakes are almost gone. Our best Christmas dress worn. What is there left to see?

The amount of money you have left in the bank! *dark laughter ensued*

Shamefully, I must admit, I have spent a fortune on this year’s Christmas.. Of course there’s the Christmas savings that I saved up since early January 2015, but I have gone overboard with the Christmas shopping spree. I mean, there’s the sale at Bath & Bodyworks that nobody can resist. And then along came those Christmas baubles on sale at Metrojaya. Who can resist Christmas baubles??? I know I can’t! Let’s not even talk about Christmas lights, Christmas stockings, Christmas deco, candles, plaid table cloths, Rum-filled fruit cakes….. ahhhhh the list goes on!

So what have I learned from this year’s experience?

To save more money of course. Also to have a complete list for Christmas – only buy what’s in the list! Probably gonna put in more kitchen stuff in the list since I am planning to get domesticated even more. *:P* Gotta learn more about heavy duty slides as well…

How was your Christmas spending?

16th Oct 2015

So we meet again!

I am definitely not so discipline when it comes to posting on my blog. Although I have *tried* to promise myself that I would post at least 1 post a week, I seem to be slacking off – I guess I’m just too busy with other stuff! But of course, that is not a good excuse enough to be lazy.

So many things had happened since I went offline from this blog. There’s this newspaper clippings of me (they were talking about me! Ha ha), and then there’s the birthday of my niece that I host, I got a new puppy – Chiko’s offspring, and then there’s the new car…. But I won’t be talking about all that today. Because I’d like to mention about my fiancé’s latest album. Oh yeah, that man finally came out with an album!

If you’re interested to get his album, you can always contact me and I’ll send you the details on where to get it. And if I’m on a really good mood then, I might send you a free bass scale chart as well! (of course, I’m kidding)

OK, gotta go now. Sandy’s coming over to pick me up in about 1 hour from now. We’re going out to paint the town in red! lol

Happy New Year!

11th Jan 2014

Yeah.. a lil bit on the late side of wishing that. But hey, I’ve got a pretty good reason for that. My home-based business has been booming quite nicely since early this year. Lots of birthdays, fullmoon and wedding coming up that I need to work on. Seems like 2014 is a good year to start with – hopefully it is too on your side. :)

Here’s what I was working on just recently:

A dinosaur-themed birthday for a client who’s running an event company. Fun! Fun! Fun!

I’ve also made a New Year’s resolution of putting myself before work: I will be going to bed at 10:00 PM every night now so I could get enough sleep. Work can wait (even tho my work never seems to end at home! lol) coz health is something really important. I also plan to sign up for a gym (again) this year. Gotta shed all those extra weights I gain for the past few years. Ha ha. Also making more $$ is another objective for this year. lol

That said, I end my post with a picture of me working on my brother’s recent beach wedding on New year’s eve.

PS: I made the table, the deco and all that. ;)
