The Kitchen Chat

“Love, I don’t like peeling onions. They make my fingers stink and they stay for like ages!”

“Oh, that’s not a big problem, baby,” he said. “I can do that.”

“I’m also not a very good cook.”

“But I am,” he informed me. “In fact, I have a better plan. Why don’t I cook and you prepare the rest, except for the onions part.”

“Deal!”

(This is a photo of my parents buying veggies. I just thought it goes with today’s post. lol)

[1 Year later]

He came back from work.

“Is everything ready?”

“Yes, the chicken are cubed. The veggies are ready. Rice is cooking in the pot.”

“..where are the onions?”

SIGH “Didn’t we agree that you’ll be doing that part?” I lamented, shaking my head.

“Those are easy job, you see..”

Our conversation goes the same almost everyday. It’s always the onion and garlic and ginger part. But of course, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t love me. Only he forgets sometime. Men. Even if you ask them to sign a private placement memorandum, they wouldn’t know what the thing is for. lol

PS: I still love you, Jaya, no matter how forgetful you are! :-P

Rumahku Syurgaku

Translated as: My house, my heaven.

My fiance and I had moved into my brother’s beautiful apartment while we search for our own ‘heaven’. Today would be our 2nd day over here and already we’re feeling very at home. He he. I think the house’s feng shui is pretty good for me too. I’m saying that because I just got a few extra assignments today and that means more $$$! Maybe now I can start planning for that new york vacations, ey? :-P

By the way, I’m not the only one feeling at home here in my brother’s place. The cat is enjoying himself as well.

He prefers the balcony more than the living room as compared to our previous house. Maybe he likes the wind (it’s very windy at the balcony) and the sound of the bell coming from the school nearby la.. whatever it is, I’m so glad he enjoys every moment of it.

10 More Days…

and I’ll be home for Christmas!!!

Waaahhh.. so excited and I can’t wait! I know my mom has been counting days to see her bakal menantu (teehee) and she’s as excited as we both are, but nothing beats the excitement I have on seeing the youngest member in the family – si Girly. Ha ha!

Boy do I miss her so much! It’s been almost a year since I last see her. I miss playing with her, feeding her with junk foods we eat and teasing her about taking shower. She hates it! lol

Just 10 days more, Girly. Kakak Cindy is coming with gifts for you. Don’t worry, dear.. the gifts are edible and has nothing to do with taking shower or fixing lighting fixtures. :-P

This Is Kaamatan – Electric Version

Kaamatan (Harvest Festival) is just around the corner, folks! So why don’t you entertain yourself and/or your guests by playing this song called This Is Kaamatan by Kay Kastum featuring Alvin a.k.a Defoo? You will definitely love it!

Visit Kay Kastum’s website now to DOWNLOAD it like a pirate for FREE!! *heehee*

Well, as for me, there’ll be no Kaamatan for me this year… because I’ll be celebrating Gawai instead for the first time – with me Bunny! Only 9 days left to go and boy, am I excited (and nervous) at the same time!
