Life’s meaningless without your loved ones.

Rumahku Syurgaku

15th Jan 2010

Translated as: My house, my heaven.

My fiance and I had moved into my brother’s beautiful apartment while we search for our own ‘heaven’. Today would be our 2nd day over here and already we’re feeling very at home. He he. I think the house’s feng shui is pretty good for me too. I’m saying that because I just got a few extra assignments today and that means more $$$! Maybe now I can start planning for that new york vacations, ey? :-P

By the way, I’m not the only one feeling at home here in my brother’s place. The cat is enjoying himself as well.

He prefers the balcony more than the living room as compared to our previous house. Maybe he likes the wind (it’s very windy at the balcony) and the sound of the bell coming from the school nearby la.. whatever it is, I’m so glad he enjoys every moment of it.

10 More Days…

10th Dec 2009

and I’ll be home for Christmas!!!

Waaahhh.. so excited and I can’t wait! I know my mom has been counting days to see her bakal menantu (teehee) and she’s as excited as we both are, but nothing beats the excitement I have on seeing the youngest member in the family – si Girly. Ha ha!

Boy do I miss her so much! It’s been almost a year since I last see her. I miss playing with her, feeding her with junk foods we eat and teasing her about taking shower. She hates it! lol

Just 10 days more, Girly. Kakak Cindy is coming with gifts for you. Don’t worry, dear.. the gifts are edible and has nothing to do with taking shower or fixing lighting fixtures. :-P

This Is Kaamatan – Electric Version

21st May 2009

Kaamatan (Harvest Festival) is just around the corner, folks! So why don’t you entertain yourself and/or your guests by playing this song called This Is Kaamatan by Kay Kastum featuring Alvin a.k.a Defoo? You will definitely love it!

Well, as for me, there’ll be no Kaamatan for me this year… because I’ll be celebrating Gawai instead for the first time – with me Bunny! Only 9 days left to go and boy, am I excited (and nervous) at the same time!

Curious Case of Stu Hamm & Bunny

28th Apr 2009

WARNING: Might have excessive photos and Bunny loving

Last Saturday, Stuart Hamm – bassist of the famous Joe Satriani – was down in KL for a Bass clinic and I was lucky enough to tag along with Bunny right from the sound check moment to the end of the show. Wait, there’s more: I was seated at the very front seat. Woohoo!!

Here’s some photos for you Stu Hamm fans to gloat on people who didn’t get the chance to attend this awesome show. ^_^

The view from inside the hall. Beautiful isn’t it? Never knew Panggung Bandaraya is THAT beautiful..

The man himself, STU HAMM! (Man, he was AWESOME!!)

“I started playing the bass when I got a bass guitar for Christmas when I was 13..”

Bunny and his friend gets to jam with Mr. Stu!!! *hee*

A closer look

…of my Bunny

Bunny again

More Bunny! (Sorry can’t help it. I love that man to pieces. *teehee*)

Last one. I promise! :-P

Stu was actually very pleased with Bunny’s playing, he gave him a bowing ovation during rehearsal!
(AND a thank you + praising email after!)

Finally, a pic of me and Bunny. Pardon him for the eyes. He likes to do that sometimes. -_-

Well that’s about all the photos I can share with you. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do (especially on the part of showing off Bunny’s brand new guitar. Ha! Ha!) And please don’t comment on the increasing size of my already round face. I’m trying to lose as much weight as I can before Pesta Gawai next month (gonna meet the future in-laws! *shrieks*). Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a date with the ellipticals. :-P

Ciao baby!

For The Love of PETS :D

18th Apr 2009

I think most of you knew about the existence of my mom’s pet dog, Girly. Well, she’s more of a “baby” at home than a dog actually. She goes almost everywhere my mom goes. She sleeps in the same room where my mom sleeps. She eats ONLY if my mom sit by her side – sometimes to the extend of spoon feeding her! Yeah, Girly is THAT spoiled!

Last Christmas, I got Girly a collar with a cute pink bell on it. This year? I think I’m gonna get her a brand new bed. Something like this one I saw on the Net from a company that sells pet beds online:

Cute, huh? Well, I think I’m gonna get just that for Girly this Christmas. Hopefully by December, there’ll be more new beds coming. I’m sure mom and Girly would love it!

* Christmas won’t be the same, by the way, since our other pet dog died.. I’m actually still not over BonBon‘s death. I still cry for him whenever I think of him… :-(
