Anyway. I was called by this huge, international makeup company for an interview today. The interview went ok. The salary offer was great. They even offered a meal allowance, makeup allowance, overtime allowance, sales commission.. and I heard that there’s also shoes allowance! Ha ha.. mana mau cari tuh? BUT the only con is: the working hours! Gahhhh.. why must there be a con. Can’t they just give me pros without the cons? :-( AND.. I will have to work on weekends. So sad. Anyway, I’m gonna give it a thought before deciding anything.

On the other hand, I’ve been actively brushing up my designing skills once again. I managed to design a new logo for a client before Christmas and this was what I did:

Just a simple black & white logo as per requested by the client. And we have another happy client! :-D

So that means, in the meantime, I’ll be having two jobs right now: Freelance Graphic Designer by day, buruh kasar at the bar by night. LOL. Coming up next, I’ll probably jump into the business card printing business as well. :-P

Wedding cards for the soon to be bride and bridegroom.

I’ve actually submitted the sample to another website that offers services and infos about anything related to weddings – They provide info for services such as bridal makeup, photography, food catering, flowers etc. Which got me into thinking of getting help from a business website builder company to help me build an official business website for my freelance works. That would be an awesome idea, ya?

A professional-built business website could probably bring in more customers to my sites, since I do not have the expertise of building a website, especially those with flashy flash thingy. I’m no pro coder and builder, I’m just a graphic designer. :-P To achieve a great looking website, I’m gonna need people who actually eat and sleep building websites – like them guys at web-deva.com. :-)

Well hmmm.. this should go into my consideration box.

Of course, I came up with the logo and also the name. I named the company! *hee*

So anyone interested to hire me as a freelance graphic designer for their company? I’ll be needing those extra $$ to buy me new bath vanity and so on. :-P

Hmm.. and that brings me to one question: Should I go for those web directory submission? Maybe I can promote my graphic design services easier that way, eh? :-)

This is for my returning client, sweet Lia of Bloglicious. She is also the owner of the blog where you can find all pretty Bentos at Bentolicious. :-)

If only I have half the energy she has in juggling between being a mother, a wife and creating all those lovely Bentos. Now, she’s venturing into cooking (non-Bento related) as well!!!

I’ve been working on 2 custom requests these 2 months and I only managed to complete hers last week. 1 more to go before I can consider whether or not I should take more custom requests… But perhaps having to work 7 days a week (5 days at the office, 2 days at my home office) could make me lose weight from all the stress? LOL! I’m desperately trying to lose MORE weight because my cousin is getting married this December – I don’t want to be the fattest girl in the family pictures! So does alli work like.. really work??!

If anyone have info, TELL ME!!!

Not really recent lar, only that I didn’t have time to get on the Net to blog and post about it.

Aunty J’s blog design was previously did by yours truly and if you visit her blog, you’ll see that she’s still using the same design – I only changed the header for her blog, since her previous blog header only featured her husband, Ethan and herself. Now that she has a new addition in her family, she requested for a new header that includes baby Eli as well. :-D

I’m glad she love the new header. I hope you’ll like it so much than the natural acne treatment that works, because the image itself is more pleasing than the sight of acne. *hee* (sempat lagi beriklan bah ni. hehehe)

It was made for our very own Sabahan baker (tapi bukan tinggal di Sabah lah. Hehehe), Cath of CAKE BY CATH. Ooohh let me tell you – I was sooo excited when I work on this design for her. Not only because she’s a very nice lady, but because she also makes pretty cakes and cupcakes. Just look at her creations in her *ahem* newly-designed blog!

I already have a feeling that I might be ordering some cake from her soon. Maybe for my birthday. Or just for the sake of eating cakes. Ha ha! But seriously, her cakes are so pretty they make cute wedding favors as well.

To tell you the truth, the blog design is not 100% done. There’s still a lot of work to do on it, especially the sidebar part. In fact, I’ve been working on the sidebar for the past 4 hours! T____T It is SO frustrating when some codings doesn’t work as it should be.. Maybe the next time I plan to work on another blog design, I shall get some insurance quotes first, just to be safe….

Well.. going back to the family blog to work on it. Again.
