The Rungus motif at the backdrop was done by *ahem*, me of course. *flutters eyelash* The rest of the pelamin was done by the rest of the family and relatives. It was hard work, but everyone enjoyed it!

I also get to use my long-abandoned freelance makeup artist service on that day. I worked my magic on FIVE women (SIX, if you include me) and I wasn’t tired at all! I still get to shake my booty after a few sips of tapai siopon. Bahhahahahha!

For your info, I had a pretty top on during the wedding, but my brother made me change into the T-Shirt we’re selling. “Promotion bah..” he said. Oh well. Fine with me. And that wet spot on my shirt? It was the tapai! Aieeeeee.. I was made to drink and so I drank half-heartedly. But it was fun! Would do it again in a heartbeat.. LOL

I guess everyone have their own passion. Some people love making Bentos, some enjoy collecting log furniture (like this aunt of mine)..and some enjoy designing. *hee*

Anyway, I have no complain for it. By 7am, we got the power restored: hurray! I can get back to work later and work on my already piling work.

Here’s what I did just recently:

A Sabahan board game design for a client. No idea what they gonna do with the board, probably open up a stall during the Kaamatan festive at KDCA? If yes, then siok lah! My design will be on display for people to see and buy!!!! ;-D Pretty soon, I might be able to get a brand new laptop (with the help of lenovo coupons untuk berjimat) with more requests of designs coming in!

Wokay. Signing off and back to work.

“Do we buy or just rent?”

Of course, I’d love if we could buy the house. But my fiance seems to think otherwise. He prefers renting than buying. “Not worth it.”, he said. Not worth it?? But it’s a beautiful house! Wait till I get the Martha out of me and you’ll see how worthy it is!

So we moved to another house. Then another. Then another.. until we spotted a few dogs. Chiko got so excited, he was barking and whining so loud! Such a pain in the ears, we wish we had In-Ear Headphones in the car.

And then we ‘accidentally’ ended up in this very nice neighborhood. Almost Wisteria Lane-like. Nicely designed houses, lots of flowers and huge lawns. Then it occurred to me that this is where our friend, Amir Yussof lives! That famous musician who’s really talented in music. Such beautiful place he lives! And we were saying things like, “So this is where he practices his music and does his stuff!” “Where’s his dogs?? I wanna see his dogs. And plants.”

Unfortunately, Amir’s at Kuching at that time. So.. no dog visiting or plants peeking.

And as for our house-hunting? Well.. we’re still looking.

I was at the church today, standing in line for the Holy Communion when I saw a lady who almost looked like someone I know. Someone very close and dear to me. Well.. used to be so close to me. She looked like her. Instantly, my mind flashed back to our much younger years when we were still back in college. Staying up late nights for some girly entertainments. Counting buses and cars that passes us by. Breaking the rules of college ..etc. Once, we went straight to church after having too much fun with a few friends all night long. Trust me, you would NEVER want to attend mass after partying all night long. :-P

Move forward to present. I haven’t seen her for a long time. Sometimes I wish I could just buy gold coins that could bring me back to the past and try to get to know her better. Or maybe not abandon her when she really need someone to talk to. Have I not tried harder in the past? Was I not a good friend at all? I don’t know..

I only know that it’s not easy to mend what happened in the past. It’s not easy for me to accept who she is now and I believe she understands that. I just hope in time, we can see each other again and talk things out.

I wish she would just for once, sit down to talk and listen to what her family has to say or feel about her..or maybe just have a talk with me. The person who was once so close to her.

I miss her.

*sigh*

Life has been really busy with so many things coming up. Harvest Festival coming up real soon, cousins getting hitched, project deadlines and an overly active dog who just couldn’t sit still! Man, it’s so hectic over here I hardly have time to paint my nails!

And speaking of hectic, have I already told you that I am collaborating with my dear old brother (he’s gonna kill me for saying that. ha ha) in his new T-Shirt printing company called The Printee. This is a total local business, made in Malaysia ones. And a lot of the T-Shirt designs are made by.. ahem.. ME!

You can find a lot of designs over there that you might be interested to buy. And if you happened to buy designs made by me, I get paid!! So buy T-Shirts and help feed me! *teehee* However, if you’re looking for lab ovens, you won’t find it there. We only sell T-Shirts and custom-made T-Shirts.

So yeah. Buy T-Shirts and help Cindy put foods on the table. ;-D

But it’s ok. Like my brother used to say, busy means $$. But as much as I do enjoy working on odd hours, I can NOT deal with this hot weather. Humid too! We have air-cond, of course, but how can I use them 24/7? Not only it’ll boost our electricity bill, it is also not really good for me skin. *hee* So the solution?

Shower.

Gawd, I think I showered like 4 times already today. It’s so HOT! It’s like sitting in a sauna and melting your fats away. So much better than having those myoripped side effects lah… But still.. Can’t we Malaysian for once enjoy a nice, cold winter?? :-(

Anyway, just wanna post this work I did for a production company in the US recently. A logo touch-up.

In the meantime, I’ll stay blonde with some brunette already growing at the roots. Fugly. But who cares. I still make money nonetheless. *hee*
