she finally got hitched!

10th Mar 2016

A fortnight ago, we celebrated the wedding of my bestie, Sandy.

i’m so happy for her, can you tell it from my face? ha ha

the bride was beaming with happiness, you can see how happy she was. in fact, i’ve never seen her this happy in the many years i’ve known her – all praises be to the Lord for finally making her dreams come true! a man that loves her and a man who has always been with her through thick and thin – what more could you ask for from a husband?

it was a beautiful wedding with all the pretty details; her wedding theme color was green and almost everyone dressed up in beautiful green – except for me and my partner. we were dressed in white coz i was the maid of honor. *beams*

her reception will be this weekend and i do not know what i’m gonna give her. Joy Jewelers stackable expressions came to mind instantly; they’d make a perfect wedding gift! don’t you think?

oh i so can’t wait for the reception this weekend. it’s gonna be another day filled with awesomeness and lots of sweet memories and cakes! (and me with on my brand new dress) *Ü*

family, friends & fengshui

10th Jan 2016

So I just got back from a small family gathering at my cousin, Mathilda’s home. Great home-cooked meal, lots of laughter and ice-cream party. (we brought ice-creams and buns) It seems that the year 2016 is starting off awesome for me. It’s only January the 10th and already we had 2 family get together where great foods are involved. Another gathering is due to happen again come January 30th – definitely more foods and laughter!

I also recently developed an interest with feng shui: I re-arranged the position of my work desk, computers and printers. Found my kua number and started taking note of my lucky and unlucky sides. I also purchased a few lucky coins, luck coin and crystals in hopes of enhancing my life quality. Through feng shui, I’ve made another new friend. A very nice lady who thought me a lot about feng shui.

2016 is a big year for me.. and I have A LOT of things to do. There’s the modern calligraphy, watercolor painting… I probably should take up music classes too. Maybe it’s time to finally learn how to play super bass or violin!

Whatever it is that 2016 have in store for me, I am all set to face it. With the blessings from the good Lord above, I will be able to go through this year successfully!

27th Dec 2015

So Christmas 2015 is over. All the presents are opened, all the rum-filled fruit cakes are almost gone. Our best Christmas dress worn. What is there left to see?

ohchristmastree

The amount of money you have left in the bank! *dark laughter ensued*

Shamefully, I must admit, I have spent a fortune on this year’s Christmas.. Of course there’s the Christmas savings that I saved up since early January 2015, but I have gone overboard with the Christmas shopping spree. I mean, there’s the sale at Bath & Bodyworks that nobody can resist. And then along came those Christmas baubles on sale at Metrojaya. Who can resist Christmas baubles??? I know I can’t! Let’s not even talk about Christmas lights, Christmas stockings, Christmas deco, candles, plaid table cloths, Rum-filled fruit cakes….. ahhhhh the list goes on!

So what have I learned from this year’s experience?

To save more money of course. Also to have a complete list for Christmas – only buy what’s in the list! Probably gonna put in more kitchen stuff in the list since I am planning to get domesticated even more. *:P* Gotta learn more about heavy duty slides as well…

How was your Christmas spending?
